DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

e-col’o-gy n.
The study of human populations and of their reciprocal relations
in terms of physical environment, spatial distribution, and
cultural characteristics. (Gk. Oikos – home + logy)

tech-nol’o-gy n. pl. tech-nol’o-gies

  1. The branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and
the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts,
    applied sciences, and pure science.
  2. The sum of the ways in which social groups provide themselves with the material objects of their civilization.

Both technology and ecology are ways of locating or placing human activity in environment. To render this environment livable and sustainable we must consider all relevant forces influencing and shaping the architectural object. The goal of this design process is to successfully integrate the man-made with the natural.

Design insight grows naturally from collaboration among many disciplines. Seeing your problems in a range of perspectives – environment, community impact, internal needs, and economic goals -- is both responsible and responsive

As responsible professionals we ask hard questions, and we listen to find the best answers. Believing that a lasting, positive outcome for the community and environment is part of serving each client well, we weigh options, we evaluate solutions, and we make recommendations. We implement quality and creative designs. In design, construction approvals, financing and scheduling we work hard, intelligently, enthusiastically, and with the clients’ interest first to realize your objectives.
